To create a sales, lettings or commercial property, follow the steps below:
1) Click the Property tab.
2) Click Create Property.
3) Start completing the property form starting with the reference field on the top left hand side. This reference field is for your reference as a way to keep track of keys & boards for example.
4) Next start typing the name of the owner of the property and select the correct name from the dropdown.
5) If the owner does not appear in the dropdown, this means they are not yet in your Juvo account. Click on the plus icon on the righthand side of the owner box. A pop up box will appear, which will let you add the owner of the property directly from this screen. Once you have pressed save, the owner will be added into the contacts section and will now show in the owner field on this property page.
6) The next field is the property status, the property status controls which properties are sent to your website and to your ftp portals. Available, Under Offer, Sale Agreed or Let Agreed means the property is ready to be marketed. If the property status is set to Sold (off market), Valuation, Withdrawn, Let Agreed (Off Market), it means the property is not to be marketed.
7) Select the category of the property, either sales, lettings or commercial from the dropdown.
8) Next add the property address. The Advertise address is the generic address that will be shown on the portals and your own website. Often the advertise address includes the street name, but not the house number of the property. Then use the postcode lookup to search the property address using just the postcode.
9) Once you have typed in the postcode and pressed the magnifying glass icon, you will have a dropdown list of all properties linked to that postcode. Please select the correct address from dropdown. This will the automatically populate address line 1, town, county and postcode.
10) If the postcode lookup is not picking up an address, this may mean that the property is a new build and has not yet been registered on the database. If this is the case, simply type in the address into the relevant fields.
11) Property type can be selected from the drop down. This is a comprehensive list of all property types. If you would like to condense this list, you can do so within the Admin> System options area.
12) For matching potential clients to properties, you can select the location of the property. These locations can be customised to the locations you work within. To add these do so in the Admin> System options section.
13) The price of the property can be added and then select the relevant price label for example offers in excess of, fixed price, price from.
14) The price valuation is for your reference to know how much you value the property at. You can also record of your fee in either a percentage or fixed fee.
15) Select the fee that you will be charging the landlord or vendor - this can be a fixed fee or a percentage of the Price.
16) Select the date that the property is available from the pop out diary.
17) In the website address (url) use this to include a direct link to the property on your website or portal. This link will be added as a button on mailing list emails that are sent to clients, allowing them to see the full details of the property including images, floorplans, EPC, brochures, description etc.
18) The video link can be used for 3d floorplans or virtual tours of the property.
19) Once the form is complete, press save. More options will appear, including features, images, marketing, locations, management and documents.
20) To add the features to the property, click on Features from the menu. Enter features and press save. These features will appear as bullet points when the property appears on portals and your own website.
21) Add your summary and description.
The summary on the property is a couple of lines of text to highlight the overview of the property. Often on portals this description appears on the listing page of your properties along with the main image.
The description is the area that you can entered details about the property, location, rooms and any other selling points for the property. The description is the text that appears on the main page for the property on the portals.
22) To add images, floorplans and EPC's click on the Images button from the menu.
23) Select the type of image you are uploading from the dropdown - images, floorplans, EPC. Select the file from your computer (upload multiple images by selecting multiple at the same time).
Press the upload button. Once the image has uploaded it will appear below. To reorder the images, click and drag on the images.
